ASC Contract DocumentsThis is a 233-page publication containing educational materials on what subcontract agreements should and should not contain, as well as a discussion of contract law related to bidding, contract formation, and contract performance. Also included are samples of forms and commentaries on the latest editions of AIA and AGC forms. An excellent reference when comparing custom contracts to model document language. Use of this neutral form helps Subcontractors focus on the most important issues in negotiations, and it can serve to limit the number of issues that need to be discussed with a general contractor or construction manager. Standard Form Construction Contract DocumentsThe following documents are consensus forms produced by industry organizations, which have been designed to reflect current industry practices. These are standard form contracts, copyrighted and pre-printed, and routinely used for most common types of industry transactions. They cover in a broad fashion most important terms and conditions.
